Sloan Kulper
Chief Design Officer at One Earth Designs

In the past, Kulper worked at a design consulting firm where he created new products for major international brands, helped launch a non-profit organization producing renewable energy kits for rural markets in Africa and Latin America, and developed biogas energy solutions in Bangladesh. As principal of his own architecture and design firm he has managed major architectural and product development projects in China and the US. Kulper was a part-time faculty member at the Rhode Island School of Design where he taught social entrepreneurship. His training is in architecture (MIT) and industrial design (Rhode Island School of Design).​

Kristin Low
Associate Director at Digital Butter

Passionate about service design, innovation, strategy, he helps business to grow by using design to solve complex problems. He also specialize in develop and embed design-led innovation capacity within organizations.

Chong Chan Yau
Chairman of Carbon Care Asia

 

Mr. Chong is the Chairman of the Hong Kong People's Council on Sustainable Development.
He has been a member of the Education and Publicity Subcommittee of the Council for Sustainable Development, which is an advisory committee to the Hong Kong SAR Government on sustainability issues. 
 Moreover, Mr. Chong is very active in contributing to the civic society. He is on the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, and is Vice-Chairman of the Joint Council for the Physically and Mentally Handicapped and President of the Hong Kong Blind Union. 

 

Wayne Larkin
Canberra Jam Organizer, Assisting Manager of Innovation Department of Australian Government

Wayne is a strategist, marketing, branding, advertising and communications consultant. With over 38 years experience and has won 28 International and National awards for marketing and advertising. He works for Department of Innovation, Industry, Science, Research & Tertiary Education (DIISRTE) of Australian Government to  explore and validate creative and innovative approaches to finding and delivering solutions to economic, social and environmental challenges. On the side, he is also the managing director and creative director of Visual Design Group Pty Limited. He worked for the Department of Denfence of Australia as a communications advisor of Strategic Reform Program.

 

Kim Salkeld

Head, Efficiency Unit, HKSAR Government

 

Kim has been a civil servant in Hong Kong since 1980 but his interest in sustainability began before that when he worked as an archaeologist, investigating how Roman society tried to adapt to climate change in the fourth and fifth centuries AD.  From 1998 to 2001 he was Deputy Secretary for Environmental Policy and helped establish the government's sustainable development unit.  Currently he is head of the efficiency unit, the government's team of management consultants, tasked with promoting improvement and innovation in the processes used and services provided by the government.

 

Dominic Chan
Founder and Partner, Dark Horse Investment

Dominic is the founder and partner of Dark Horse Investment, an angel investment company in Hong Kong, He is also the Founder and chief consultant of Decisive Consulting Limited, responsible for developing and executing client engagements; He specializes in Business Development, Due Diligence, Feasibility studies and Sales & Marketing for verticals such as: Finance, Internet, Telecommunications, Mobile business and distance learning. Dominic combines extensive strategy consulting skills with solid line management experience gained working in & around the Asia Pacific region.

 

Paul Angwin
Managing Director Asia Pacific, People and Planet

 

Paul Angwin, Managing Director Asia Pacific, for People and Planet (www.pandp.me) has significant senior management experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, human rights and philanthropy with more than nine years experience in the Asia Pacific region. His focus areas are philanthropic programs and CSR, particularly in the areas of education, community development and disaster relief. As a result of his personal integrity and professional commitment to this sector over the years, Paul is well respected and highly networked among the Asian CSR and philanthropic communities.
